Description
The Leaching Columns is a set of Copper Extraction by Laboratory Leaching: This set includes 6 leaching columns of 250 mm (10″ approx) in diameter and 2 meters high. (Other measurements and configurations are available upon customer request).
COLUMNS: Constructed of class 6 blue hydraulic PVC tubes with flanges at one end of Ø 300 mm x 15 mm thick, with 8 3/8 perforations, reinforced with 8 flange-width supports and 100 mm high, for each column. All supports in 10mm thick PVC material.
They have Ø 300 mm x 15 mm thick covers, with drain-type discharge fixed to the flange with 3/8 stainless steel bolts with rubber gasket, discharges are defined by the customer.
Ø 200 mm discs are included, perforated for filtering the sample process system, countersunk for better liquid drainage. It also includes supports to separate the discs from the lid through which the liquid will fall into a drum.
STRUCTURE: Built in ASTM A36 steel to support the 6 columns, it has the shape of a chair with two supports in front where the columns are attached with clamps. Includes bench type system to load the columns. Optional: Inspection ladder.
In the lower part, a space is provided in height to accommodate the drums to receive the sample.
In the upper part there is a shelf where the liquid recirculation pumps are installed (Pumps NOT included)
