Description
In 2011, this crushing plant located within the facilities of the Chiquicamata Mine was launched. The plant called “6ta. Secondary – Tertiary Crushing Auxiliary Line” has a nominal capacity of 1250 TMPH, it complements the Chuquicamata crushing process.
The objective of this plant was to create a backup line to carry out the scheduled maintenance of the existing crushing lines, in addition to having an increase in the volume of ore processed.
Our company was in charge of the integral development of the Engineering of the new plant, in addition to the specification and supply of the main equipment, supervision for the assembly, start-up and training of the Maintenance and Operation personnel.
Among the equipment included are crushing equipment from our represented companies in the USA and SALAS brand sample screens and cutters.
